Institutional adoption is increasingly prevalent in the cryptoverse, and although this revolution has the potential to elevate crypto to the next level, some fear that it could set us back years by making crypto more centralised. Avoiding this situation will require overcoming regulatory challenges, ensuring decentralisation, addressing data privacy concerns, and enhancing liquidity while being compliant. But to achieve this, we must actively dismantle the barriers that have impeded institutional adoption for so long. It is also vital to ensure history is not repeated through fiascos (like the FTX crash). The potential impact of such events intensifies exponentially when institutional stakeholders are involved. Therefore, creating a safe and compliant environment is fundamental. And this is exactly what we’ve been building for the last few months.

We loved being a pure-play exchange, but we understood there was a need to evolve. How to migrate your funds

Now, let’s dive into the migration process. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to migrate your funds from your old account to your new upgraded account (tanX).

• Visit https://trade.tanx.fi/ from your browser and click on the ‘Connect Wallet’ button on the top right corner.

• Select your wallet from the options provided and log in to the platform. Note: Make sure to use the same wallet you used for Brine.

• Once you have logged in, a pop-up will appear asking for your permission to migrate funds from your old wallet. Click the ‘Migrate Funds’ button to authorise the transfer of your funds.

• After fund transfer has been approved, a wallet signature request will pop up to the right of your screen. Please sign all wallet signatures to complete the migration process.

• Once you have successfully initiated the migration, another pop-up will appear confirming the same. The funds will be transferred to your new account shortly afterwards.

• All your trade history, funds and unclaimed rewards will be transferred to your new account as well. You can check them using the left navigation bar.

Note: Salt score will not be migrated at the moment; it will reflect in your account shortly.

• Sometimes, the migration might not be completed due to a network issue or too many failed attempts. In this case, please click ‘Retry’ to start the process again. If you still face issues, please reach out to support@tanx.fi.
